A Belated Fall Update
Well here we are, well into the fall months — and when I started writing this draft, it was still summer — and my kiln is busier than it’s ever been! I have been running a good amount of work through (sometimes back to back!) and even had my first experience getting help with switching out some parts that were at the very end of their lives so now I am back up and running and feeling more confident in my kiln knowledge.
Even with being so busy, I have found some time to sneak in some new creations like cute mini sculptures I’m calling “blossoms”, egg wall art, organic ring dishes, donut ring dishes, 90s inspired shapes ring dishes, and lemon earrings. I have so many other ideas brewing once I get ahead of these orders!
I also had one of my strawberry dishes featured in a reel that went viral with over a million views on the official Etsy instagram!! 🫣

And in workshop news, a carpenter friend of mine has been helping me out with some much needed renovation and repairs and I now have the pottery area closed off from the rest of the workshop making running the kiln so much more comfortable for the household (it gets so so hot). I’m hoping this will finally mean I can run overglazes through my kiln without stinking up the house. It’s all still a work in progress (like much of this house) but I am happy it’s getting done and I can’t wait to show off the finished result.

And that’s all that’s fit to print for the moment! Until next time ✌️
